Join us on this discovery of some of America’s finest art institutions and inspirational gardens. We begin in Philadelphia, one of the nation’s most historically rich cities, home to Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution were signed, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with its vast collection of masterpieces by world famous artists. We also spend a day at the Philadelphia Flower Show, America’s premier horticultural event, where we enjoy early access and a guided tour. We then head to the ‘Big Apple’ - New York - where we find an impressive collection of art institutions and exciting gardens. Highlights here include the New York Botanical the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Frick Collection, the Met Cloisters and the High Line, an abandoned section of elevated railway line that has been transformed into a suburban garden by Piet Oudolf.
